NO-THINGNESS…

October 12th, 2008

( Every cubic centimeter of empty space contains more energy than

the total energy of the known universe.)

   Warm Hellos to Everyone,

Being ‘in the gap’ can be disorienting/mindblowing and even scary.
Nothing to hold on to, no sense of direction,  not even a hint of what
choices and possibilities might be ahead.

But it was just this state of pure potential that existed before the
   universe was created.

The Zero Point Field of endless possibilities as it is being called
   by Quantum scientists.

With sophisticated instrumentation and high technology all that
appears to be there is NOTHINGNESS.

All you can do now is to relax into the nothingness.
Close your eyes and go into the silence as we all have
     heard many times.

Or, fall into the silence between the words.

Or, watch the gap between the outgoing and incoming breath.
And treasure each empty moment of experience.

Something sacred is about to be born.

So many of us believe we have to get our answers externally
from the so called outside world and we have to make it
     happen.

“ Just Do it.”     ( The Nyke commerical)

We think we have to set goals and if we are not getting
a lot accomplished we feel guilt and lazy and useless.

” Just Do Nothing.”   (And be YourSelf)

How about that for a Paradox?

As for results, everything happens the way it’s supposed
       to anyway.

If something isn’t supposed to happen, you’ll never be able
       to make it happen.

And if something is supposed to happen, then there is nothing
in the world you could do to stop it.

So, why not just be true to the truth of your Higher Self and
let the rest take care of itself.

       Follow your Fun.   Full Stop.

All is well and unfolding like it should isn’t it?

       NO-THINGNESS

Buddha like to use the word ( shunyata) one of the really
       very potential words.

The English equivalent, ” nothingness” does not translate
       very well according to scholars.

Maybe a better word would be ‘no-thingness’.

Because the nothing is not just nothing, it is all.

It is vibrant with all possibilities.

It is potential, absolute, infinite/eternal potential.

It is unmanifest yet, but it contains all.

In the beginning is nature, in the end is nature, so why
in the middle do you make so much fuss?

Why, in the middle, becoming so worried, so anxious,
so ambitious - why create such despair?

Nothingness to nothingness is the whole journey.

Finding your own style…

September 30th, 2008

Most of us think about what we have to do before we do things in life.

We are really in ‘reactive mode’ instead of being what
is called ‘responsive mode.’

The main reason for this is that to be responsive one
must take responsibilityfor one’s actions.

And another problem is that most of us like to think we
are in control.

But all is well and unfolding just like it should in the
present moment anyway isn’t it?

In the world of health care there are many/many different
modalities/techniques or ways of treating clients or
patients.

Endless ways.

Because we are constantly learning, any technique or style of healing
that claims to have the final word or all the answers has to be
mistaken.

In this case, there is something to be learned in every technique
or style of healing and no one technique or style of healing
has all the answers for each and every individual client.

In dealing with clients or patients circumstances must dictate what you
do or I should say how you adapt in the given moment.

But too many practitioners are looking at ‘what is’ from a position
of thinking ‘what should be.’

Every client and or patient is different and requires his or her
own custom made session.

After thirteen years in practice I have learned from experience that
the best style or technique is the style of “no style” or “no
technique.”

Milton Erickson the famous psychiatrist who really was the man behind NLP had
this to say about technique;

” There is,” as Erickson stated, ” a tremendous need to utilize…an awareness
of techniques and an awareness of the kinds of techniques that you as an individual can
employ” (Erickson, 1959a).

Although a study in techniques is a good starting point, when a practitioner’s
education is restricted to learningtechnical procedures there is a
tendency to develop the mistaken assumption that therapy is
something that must be “done to ” the patient/client.

In contrast, there is a great deal of research which suggests that technique
accounts for only a minor portion of the measurable outcomes in any form of
health care (Duncan, Miller, and Sparks, 2004).

While continually adding to one’s repertoire of techniques, it is essential to recognize
the broader concepts of transformation that make change possible.

Unless the inner resources of the patient/client are recognized and engaged, even
the best techniques will fail.

The important point is that the patient must be persuaded that is what he, or she does,
not what the practitioner or doctor does, which results in his or her being cured.

This belief is crucial because it implies that the patient is the master of his
behavior rather than its servant or victim.

” In contrast to Freud’s ideas about the unconscious mind, Erickson always
emphasized the goodness of the patient’s unconscious mind.

He often used this construct to communicate the idea that patient’s
have within themselves a yet unrecognized force that can be trusted and relied upon,
something that holds much more potential than can ever be fully known.
( From ‘Hope & Resiliency’,
Dan Short PHD.,2005).

“All that we do is done with an eye to
something else.”   -Aristotle, 384-322 BCE.

To quiet or still your mind and go
within and be open to all
the possibilities.

In other words there should be no
method that has to fit everyone
as one technique simply traps or
confines an individual.

Instead a practitioner needs options
and freedom to use them.

There should only be tools to
use effectively as possible.

The highest art is no art.

The best form is ‘no-form’, or
‘free-form.’

The above philosophy is the essence
of what being more of a Master of
anything is all about.

“Not once do the advanced teachers/
transformers of God consider the
forms of sickness in which their
brothers/sisters believes.”
-A Course In Miracles, page 19-
Manual for Teachers.

A great athlete can enter a state of
body- awareness in which the right
stroke or the right movement happens
by itself ,effortlessly, without any
interference of the conscious mind
or thought.

This is a paradigm for non-action:
the purest and most effective
form of action.

The game plays the game; the poem
writes the poem; we can’t tell the
dancer from the dance.

It is also what is instilled into each
Zero point Method participant in two
exciting hands on days.

It is called Zero Point Method because
that is what we as Chiropractors,
Massage Therapists and Acupuncturists
are used to hearing it be called.

We are all in the habit of doing and
learning certain techniques or methods.

Below the level of the atom is the
Zero Point field.

It is what appears to be empty space.

However, in actuality it is a place
of Endless Possibility and eternal
energy.

In the movie “Star Wars” it is
is referred to as ‘The Force.’

To me it is where ‘unconditional
love’ is.

It is the force used by the 98lb.
mother who we all have heard about
who lifts the huge truck off her
kids who are trapped under it.

And scientists say, “How did she
do that it is physically impossible.”

It is a miracle.

To me a miracle is just a change
in perception.

And there are no levels of miracles.

In reality, cancer or Parkinson’s
is no different in difficulty than
the person with a stiff neck.

And most practitioner’s believe
that there are levels of
difficulty in healing.

Healing occurs when the client or
patient finally lets go of their
fear totally and completely.

A new and better way of looking
at the same old thing.

Or using better intent.

This mother was definitely in the
present moment which is the point
of power and is accessing the Zero
Point Field of Endless Possibility.

And she was definitely not thinking
about what she was doing or a
particular technique.

She took full responsibility and
responded with the power of
unconditional love.

Zero Point Method teaches a way to
draw from everything you have ever
learned and be able to bring it
in to a session with a client
exactly when it is needed.

With total trust and not an
ounce of doubt.

It is also a way of knowing without
thinking exactly what you have to do
and just doing it.

Clarity…Focusing in on eaxactly what you want…

September 17th, 2008

Warm Hellos to Everyone,

I have a friend, who is an acupuncturist and we have
been trading sessions since March of 2003 on average
of once per week to at least once per month to the
present time.  Over five years.

And before March of 2003 I was the Lone Ranger and
never thought anyone else was good enough to work
on me and just never got treated myself.

Talk about ‘Foolish Pride.’ And not practicing
what you preach.

Today, I called her and this is the topic that we
brain stormed on:

***Getting Clear and Focused on Just Exactly
   What You Want.

If you go to the ticket counter of an,, Airport
you wouldn’t think of going up to the ticket
counter and telling the ticketing agent at the
counter “Give me a ticket for a happy place.”

“I want to go to a happy place.”

The ticket agent would probably say, ” I am sorry
Sir,or Miss, where exactly do you want to go?

I can’t give you a ticket until you tell me.”

But, yet many of us go through life without first
being perfectly clear, down to the last detail on
exactly what we want before we start trying to
pursue it.

A Physicist will tell you that we are not physical
or solid bodies.

The form of everything that we see with our eyes is
vibration and holographic but it is anything
but solid matter.

Even though it looks that way.

” I am immortal spirit.  The body is just an image.
It has nothing to do with what I am.”
-Disappearance of the Universe.

” I am not a body I am free for I am still as God
created me.”  - A Course in Miracles.

What we are according to modern science are spatial
beings having a spatial experience and that we are
every where all at once.

Einstein proved that there is no past and no future.
And they both lead into the present moment.

Modern or Quantum Scientists are also saying we are
literally pushing or projecting our thoughts out
into the world.

Or, what we think about is manifested
or projected out into the world.

Think of the analogy of sitting in a movie theatre.

The cause of what is going on is not on the screen,
it is in the projector at the back of the movie
theatre.

Even if the movie really gets us to believe because
it is really good, what is happening on the screen
is an effect, not the cause.

Our minds do the same thing with the world of illusion
or maya as the Hindu’s and Buddhist’s refer to it.

We are projecting our thoughts whatever they are out
into the so called real world and what we see is an
exact replica of those thoughts.

Many of spend most of our lives trying to change what
we see in the external world( the movie screen) instead
of changing what is in the projector( our minds) the
real cause of what we see.

You all have heard the phrase, what we think about we
bring about.

We are the dreamer of the dream, not the dream itself.

Buddhist’s and Hindu’s and other’s believe that
we are constantly in a dream state.

And that there is no difference between when we appear
to be asleep or when we appear to be awake.

And Modern science can not prove their is a difference
between when we are awake and when we are asleep.

These states are just two parts of the same thing.

And again Quantum Physics is backing this up now.

So, if you are in a health care practice of any kind
of business and it is not exactly the kind of practice
or business that you want.

Then take a few moments and do the following:

Quiet your Mind and ask yourself what it is exactly
that you want your health care practice to be like?

Also say, ” Tell me what I need to know and help me
be crystal clear about it.”

And when you are ready open your eyes and right it
down and be very specific.

Then once or twice per day re-read what you wrote
down and tweak it and change it when you are lead
to.

And then keep going over it preferably when
you first wake and up and when you first go to
sleep until it manifests or arrives.

Here are some of the ideas that me and my friend
came up with to give you and idea.

At our Front Desk we wanted to have an assistant that
was about 52 years old, full of charisma and someone
who would be out meeting people and telling them all
about how wonderful we were.

She would have certain set office hours, but when she
was not in the office she would be out telling whoever
she ran into about us.

The office itself would be a nice, attractive, wonderful
place to come to, which both of our offices already are.

I like the capuccino maker and bread maker and I already
offer nutritional smoothies for those that don’t drink
smoothies.

In Stuart Wilde’s Book,  ” The Trick to Money is Having
Some, “  he talks about money really not be separate from
us.

Everything in the universe to him is about energy or
vibration when it is broken down below the level of the
atom.

Everything we see with our eyes is the same level.  It
is all energy or vibration.  The images we see on
the T.V. set are no different than the images you
see of the human beings that appear right in front of
your face.

Raise your level of energy and have fun with people.

That’s all there really is to it when it comes to money.

People are too serious and repressed in today’s world.

Most are not having any fun.  Most are very depressed.

When they come to see you have fun with them and they
will be very attracted to that.

And they will tell other people have fun and wonderful
it is to go to Dr. So & So’s office.  It is so perfect
and unlike any office I have ever been to.

When deciding on a fee for what you do.  Decide on a
fee that works for you and that you think would be
great and then keep that amount in your mind and
as long as you don’t have any guilt or second thoughts
about that fee it will never be a problem.

When you start every session with a patient or client
make sure to listen intently and unconditionally to what
your patient or client is saying to you.

Do very little talking.  Remember clients or patients
are not used to be really listened to.  Listening
without thinking about what you are going to say next
is a form of unconditional love.

Most clients or patients have come to your office
because they want help and they want to tell you
exactly what kind of help they want.

Here is something that I say to myself before I
even go in with a client or patient.

The following keeps me crystal clear and keeps me
focused on how I can be of service to
my patient or client:

I am here only to be truly helpful.

I am here to represent Him Who sent me.

I do not have to worry about what to say
or do, because He who sent me will
 direct me.

I am content to be wherever He wishes,
knowing he goes there with me.

I will be healed as I let Him teach me
 to heal.

my Blog and the last email message I
 sent on “Pursue Happiness…follow
your fun will give you some more
 very interesting ideas.

This morning I came into the office
and my secretary was on line and said,
she found a great marketing tip from
 some chiropractor.

The tip was to get some black and white
real estate type signs that you can
stick in the ground and put them
in the ground in front of your
practice and on the signs have
 printed the words,” Now Accepting
 New Patients.”

This chiropractor says she is booming
 now from this simple inexpensive
marketing idea that just came to
 her from her intuition.

I am going tomorrow to get my own
signs and I will keep you posted
on how well it works as my
practice is on a very busy
street with a lot of traffic.

Pursue Happiness…

 Pursue Happiness…Follow your Fun…

A few months ago I had to go into
my bank to handle a transaction
and get something notarized.

I signed in and had a seat.

While I was waiting I was
looking for something to
read to pass the time.

I saw on a table near me a
magazine entitled, ” Getting
Ahead in the Bank Channel,
BANK Investment Consultant.
( September 2008 issue
pages 33 and 34.)

My next thought was, “come on give
me a break.”

” Is that all you have in this place
for me to read?”

I looked away and then my gut feeling
told me to pick it up anyway even
though this was no the type
of magazine I would normally be
interested in reading.

Not even close.

Little did I know that this magazine
contained the best article on practice
management that I have read in a
long time.

I opened the magazine and I turned
right to an article entitled,

  ***Pursue Happiness***

And a picture above this headline
of a guy in a suit and a tie leaping
into the clouds and sky with
both fists raised and a huge
smile on his face.

      The sub headline read:

***How a suicidal dentist took a
   chainsaw to his office and
   rebuilt it–putting quality
   of life first.

***WHAT WOULD YOUR DREAM
   practice look like?

For some it means making as much
money as possible as quickly as
possible.

For other’s it’s building a practice
around a flexible schedule in order
to have a more balanced quality
of life.

In America it seems that it is all
about money these days.

The experts say Americans Live to Work.

While people from other countries
most surveys show Work to Live.

Identifying what your ideal practice
looks like is the first step in
creating it.

How many times have you heard,” You
have to get clear on exactly what
you want.”

Especially if you are up on what they
have been proving in Quantum science.

Our thoughts on the inside create
every thing we see with our eyes
or our sense of sight
on the outside.

So, in this article I got to meet this
interesting guy a dentist from
Australia named Paddi Lund.

Lund who, for the last dozen
years has focused on making himself,
his staff and his clients happy.

His business may be in a different
field maybe than yours, but his
desire to create the kind of
practice that separates him from
his peers is something that also
resonates among some successful
health care practitioners.

To the person looking at him
from the outside, Lund was
very successful:

He had a thriving practice and
an affluent lifestyle.

Nonetheless, he was very unhappy,
working 60 hours per week and only
making average pay for a dentist.

He was at the end of his rope and
had seriously considered suicide.

Instead, one day, he asked himself
two powerful life-changing questions–
ones that you might ask yourself:

“If the goal of life is happiness,
why would I spend my prime years
of my life making myself unhappy?”

He had employees who didn’t like
him, patients he didn’t like and
a business model that was clearly
driving him up the wall.

This led him to ask another
better question:

“How would I have to reconstruct
my business, so that it created
happiness and fulfillment for
me, my team and my patients?”

***NEW BEGINNINGS

Lund began by asking his employees
for their input.

They told him honestly that his
dental practice was a terrible
place to work.

After listening to them, Lund
created a vision he describes
as “Dental Happiness”–a seeming
incongruous statement to most,
but the beginning of an
obsession for Lund.

Lund developed a new vision of a
happiness-centered business, a
place where people loved to work
and clients(his new name for
patients)–loved to visit.

The team came up with rules of
conduct that established goals
for both happiness
and revenue.

These goals made sure to balance
the needs of customers,
employees and the owner, and
were reinforced with a weekly
profit-sharing system.

To keep things on track, Lund
also introduced daily meetings,
where staff members would rate
their happiness on a scale of
one to 10.

Some employees called the
happiness indicator the “stress
meter” because it showed that
stress and happiness were
inversely proportional.

Once this system was in place,
the team began to meet weekly to
identify obstacles and develop
actions to resolve them.

The Employees quickly realized that
they were unhappy because they were
around people most of the time who
didn’t want to be there, the reason
Lund says dentists have the highest
suicide rate of any profession.
***HAPPY PLACE

In order to create Dental Happiness,
Lund had to create a environment
where people wanted to be, starting
with why people didn’t want
to be there.

Lund surveyed patients to determine
the key things they associated with
going to the dentist, which if
changed or eliminated would have
the most dramatic impact.

As you might imagine, the list was
extensive–pain, smell, waiting,
value, time spent, atmosphere.

Lund took his collected data and
set out to start over–and
reconstruct–the patient experience
to eliminate the barriers to
happiness for all involved.

For many patients, stress starts
the moment they hit the
front door.

Almost all dental offices have one
thing in common–an unpleasant,
chemical smell.

Smell is an interesting phenomenon.

It is one of the more powerful
unconscious motivators of
human behavior.

If you smell something that reminds
you of a bad childhood experience,
you will unconsciously move into a
negative mood.

Likewise, if you smell something that
reminds you of a positive experience,
you will move into a positive mood.

The smell of a dental office generally
moves people to a negative mood.

After testing several different smells
and surveying the clients’ opinions,
Lund discovered the combination of
coffee and fresh bread delivered
the best results.

His action plan included taking a
chain saw to the opaque window that
bordered the reception area, and
installing a cappuccino machine
and an oven for baking bread.

The combination gave the office a
pleasing aroma, which was refreshed
throughout the day with a wonderful
gift the patients could leave with:

a basket of hot cinnamon buns.

Next, Lund addressed the physical
comfort of visits to the dentist’s
office with a pain button.

“This was a re-education for us–
patients were pressing the button
when we weren’t even in their
mouth yet!”he says.

“We found the simple combination
of letting them understand the
process and knowing they had an
easy way to let us know they hurt
took away much of the fear.”

Another major challenge was the
wait time.

This was actually a
two-part problem:

Many clients complained of the
wait even though they hadn’t
actually had to wait, a case of
perception becoming reality;

and patients being late threw
off the schedule.

“Once we got behind, we stayed
behind for the rest of the
day,” Lund says.

The perception of the waiting was cured
by getting rid of the waiting room.

When the patients arrived they were
taken directly in the treatment room
after being personally greeted in
the foyer.

Once they were seated and any immediate
needs taken care of, treatment would
begin immediately.

In fact, if Lund or his team were more
than a minute late, the client received
an $80.00 bottle of Champagne for his
or her trouble.

Since the staff shared profits, this
created incredible incentive for
running the practice on time.

This timely service standard also led
to the business decision to fire the
majority of clients.

Clients who were perpetually late were
not clients they wanted, so if someone
came in late, the client’s care nurse,
would suggest they reschedule.

If that didn’t work for the client,
the client was referred to
another dentist.

Over time, sticking to the new vision,
goals and values led to a turnover of
80% of the clients.

Lund ranked clients as A, B, C or
D and developed a plan to move the
C and D clients to other dentists
and the B clients to A’s or out
the door.

Eventually, he developed a referral-
only practice, stopped all forms of
advertising other than word of mouth,
took down the sign at his office,
and locked the door.

Today, if you are invited into his
practice, you arrive at the office,
ring the bell and are personally
greeted and shown inside, just like
you would be if you were visiting
the home of a friend.

Today, Lund makes three times the
money he used to make and yet he
works less than 25 hours per week.

He has no turnover in his clients
or employees and exudes happiness
wherever he goes.

I realize that for most chiropractors,
massage therapists, acupuncturists and
other health care practitioners taking
a chainsaw to your office and installing
a capuccino machine and a bread maker
might not be a useful step to take in
building the practice of your dreams.

But, asking the question Lund asked
himself might be a great first step:

“How would I have to go about
reconstructing my business, so that
it created happiness and fulfillment
for me, my team and my clients?”

Choosing Heaven 2…

July 22nd, 2008

Warm Hellos to everyone,***Choosing Heaven or Choosing Hell…
is the only choice  we can make.

***Choosing Heaven or Choosing Hell… is the only choice  we can make. There are many models, procedures,
techniques, Gurus out there in the so
called ‘real world.’

Often times we find ourselves looking
to the outside world, the world that we
see with our eyes for the answers.

The key as we all have been told is to
‘look within.’

But, how is this achieved?

One way is to look at an object
that is close to you and remember
that you are not separate but you
are one with it or totally and
completely connected to it.

You see yourself actually merging
with the other person.

Like two pebbles each being dropped
into a pond.

Each creating waves that eventually
merge and become one wave.

And then go ‘into the silence’ or stop
thinking and be aware in that instance
you have no thoughts while you are
looking at the object.

And then expand the silence and keep
going without being conscious of any
thoughts.

At certain  times during the day, when
taking a shower for example, we do
not need to be thinking, but most
of us keep thinking any way.

Make this silence last for
most of your day, day in and day out.

The above procedure is called the state
of “Being” or what Ekart Tolle in his
new best seller, “Awakening to a New
Earth” refers to as the
“Now”/present moment.

Another concept to realize is that there
is no separation, which means that there
are no levels of anything in the so called
‘real world’ that you see with your eyes.

Science has proved that there are no
levels of images:

In fact, the images of people you see
on the television screen are no different
than the images you see with your eyes
of actual people.

In fact, today’s scientific breakthroughs
in quantum physics have proven that
there is no time or space.

When you take a trip to California, you
have literally projected this to be real
from your own mind.

But in reality,we never actually leave
the place where we always are.

We just believe we do.

***Einstein proved that there is no time.

The past has already happened and
the future has not happened yet.

So, there is only the present eternal
moment.

Therefore we are eternal and the
point of power is Now.

We are like the most amazing
supernatural creators/movie
 projectors made in the creators
image.

And we are literally projecting or
pushing our thoughts out into the
 world of duality or illusion.

The problem is the way it is set up
in our minds, is that we are
superimposing  our selves into the
movie, so it looks very real to us.

Even though it is just an illusion.

There is nothing out there, out
there.

We are not sitting in the movie
theater in the seats, knowing it
is not real.

We are also giving  or handing
the people we see with our own
eyes the script.

And they are doing nothing but
following that script.

“No one has any power over us
unless we give it to them.”

***We are incredibly powerful
spiritual beings having what
appears to be a very physical
experience.

However, everything we see
with our eyes is just an image
or hologram.

Consciousness is all there is.

Or everything we see
with our sense of sight is
really an idea created from
our own mind or thoughts.

And what we see is what we
believe that we are seeing
from our past experiences.

When you have an appointment
to meet someone who you really
do not like, when you see them,
you don’t usually clean the
slate,…

…your past unpleasant experiences
/memories are triggered about them
and that is what you believe you
will see when you meet with them
again in the so called future.

And with the so called ‘Special’
people that unfortunately is
exactly what you get…
exactly what you got last time.

The key is to realize that what
ever you see with your eyes on
the so called outside of you,

you have on the inside of you.

And whatever you perceive with
your eyes is only because you
believe that is what you
will perceive.

And everything you are seeing is
what you really want to see or
you would not be seeing it.

So, lets get  back to the idea
that there is no separation,
 or levels.

This means as you have heard
before that we are all one.

So, there are no gurus that
are on a higher level or plane
than you are on.

If you meet one, that says
they are then you projected
the guru from your own  mind.

The only Guru you ultimately will
ever need is your Higher or
True Self.

And the only way to meet this Higher
or True Self is to go ‘Within’ and
take responsibility for everything
in your life.

***What works for me is seeing
everyone that I meet as trying
to hand me the key to Heaven!

If you look in the mirror and
you see an image in the mirror
that is frowning.

If you wait for the image in the
mirror to stop frowning, the mirror
will win, it will out wait you.

The only way to see a different image in
the mirror is to actually put a smile on
your own face.

So, if what I am talking about resonates
with you and you would like to learn to
become the observer of yourself or begin
the awakening process, great.

Because until you recognize the subconscious
limiting beliefs that are keeping you in
your box, you will never get to the next
reality and bust loose from your limits.

Jesus said, ” Forgive them father they know
not what they do.”

If you don’t know you have an issue or
problem or limiting belief that needs to be
released than you can not help yourself.

” The Art of not doing.” ” Be Like Water.”  -Bruce Lee

Below the level of the atom, what you can visibly see
with your eyes, exists the zero point field of endless
possibilities.

Below the level of the atom, what you can visibly seewith your eyes, exists the zero point field of endlesspossibilities. And the possibility that you focus on is the one that
serves you.

For example, you can focus on fixing someone’s shoulder
problem or you can focus on the shoulder with the intent
of collapsing the zero point or quantum field of endless
possibilities and letting all the light and information
possible come in and get a lot more than just the
 person’s shoulder better.

With that change in intent or focus many more possibilities
can unfold that just the possibility of fixing that person’s
shoulder problem.

The intent is to have your patient or client totally transform
in any and in all ways that will be the best for them and you.

To me this is choosing Heaven.

You will find that you are only limited by how creative and
imaginative you want to be.

Abundance & Prosperity…

July 10th, 2008

Dr. Wayne Dyer has been an inspiration for me for at least two decades now and below I wanted to share with you my favorite 20 quotes of his that relate to creating abundance and prosperity:

**********************************************************************************************

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

  1. “There is no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love; there’s only scarcity of resolve to make it happen.”
  2. “Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.”
  3. “There is no way to prosperity, prosperity is the way.”
  4. “Within you is the divine capacity to manifest and attract all that you need or desire.”
  5. “We are Divine enough to ask and we are important enough to receive.”
  6. “You are always a valuable, worthwhile human being, not because anybody says so, not because you’re successful, not because you make a lot of money, but because you decide to believe it and for no other reason.”
  7. “When I chased after money, I never had enough. When I got my life on purpose and focused on giving of myself and everything that arrived into my life, then I was prosperous.”
  8. “The measure of your life will not be in what you accumulate, but in what you give away.”
  9. “Successful people make money. It’s not that people who make money become successful, but that successful people attract money. They bring success to what they do.”
  10. “Self-worth comes from one thing — thinking that you are worthy.”
  11. “Prosperity in the form of wealth works exactly the same as everything else. You will see it coming into your life when you are unattached to needing it. “
  12. “Our intention creates our reality.”
  13. “Love what you do.”
  14. “Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.”
  15. “It’s never crowded along the extra mile.”
  16. “I will grow. I will become something new and grand, but no grander than I now am. Just as the sky will be different in a few hours, its present perfection and completeness is not deficient, so am I presently perfect and not deficient because I will be different tomorrow. I will grow and I am not deficient.”
  17. “Heaven on Earth is a choice you must make, not a place we must find.”
  18. “A non-doer is very often a critic-that is, someone who sits back and watches doers, and then waxes philosophically about how the doers are doing. It’s easy to be a critic, but being a doer requires effort, risk, and change.”
  19. “Anything that has been accomplished by any other human being in the physical realm is within the field of possibility.”
  20. “Anything you really want, you can attain, if you really go after it.”

Being able to do what you want to do when you need to do it= Abundance

Notice money is not mentioned in the above definition.

Think about how can I be of service and not how much money can I make!

Do Our Beliefs Control our Realty?

June 4th, 2008

On a recent PBS television special James Burke, author of The DayThe Universe Changed,

explained and proved that we have always interpreted life in accordance with our beliefs.

Whether you are a Zen Buddhist or a Western scientist, you “fit” everything

you experience into your own particular model of reality.

For a couple thousand years we knew for a fact that the sun revolved around the earth.

 However, now we know better.

Or do we?

Will another genius like  Einstein come on the scene to alter our present beliefs about reality?

*************************************************************

Consider the famous “placebo effect”.

*************************************************************

Take two people with the same illness.

Give one an authentic medication and the other a sugar pill.

Both patients/clients will heal in line with their beliefs concerning the “medicine”.

*************************************************************

Andrew Weil, author of Health And Healing

he has stated (along with other famous scholars) that the whole history

of medicine may simply really be the history of the placebo.

*************************************************************

Anthony Robbins, in Unlimited Power,

**************************************************************

talks in detail about a schizophrenic who was diabetic while one personality and perfectly

 healthy as the other personality.

One of her personalities believed she was not well or ill, so her body produced that illness.

The other self believed she was well, and her body produced that effect.   And she had no symptoms
whatsoever.

********************************************************************************

Hypnosis is another example of how beliefs can control reality.

********************************************************************************

When I was in high school I played around with hypnosis.

I placed a gullible friend of mine in a light trance and told him his left hand would
feel an ice cube touch it.

I then placed a lit match against that hand.

He did not burn (lucky for me). ( I did wind up in the principle’s office anyway,
but that is another story. )

Instead my gullible friend grinned and said, That’s cold!”

Wayne Dyer offers other evidence for the power of belief.  In Pulling Your Own Strings Dyer writes

about a 1960’s experiment where a teacher was given the I.Q. test results for his new students.

They were not all actual or real  scores, however.  Some of the I.Q. figures were actually numbers taken off the students’ lockers.

At the end of the year everyone performed as well as their “I.Q.” results had predicted they would.

The students with higher locker numbers scored higher than the students with lower locker numbers.

Everyone believed in the I.Q. scores very strongly — and created their own reality based on what they believed.

***************************************************************************************************************************

When I was in college I read Claude Bristol’s great book, The Magic Of Believing

***************************************************************************************************************************

Because of Bristol’s brilliant book  I felt I could do anything — even beat my father
in a  game of Pool.

When playing pool my Dad could easily beat me.

But after reading Bristol’s book a few times I  thouroughly convinced myself I could
win against my Dad.  I remember spending a lot of time in a chair with my eyes closed, visualizing myself playing the perfect game of pool.  Like the legendary Willie Mosconi.

When I believed I could do it, I took on my father.

My father could beat me so easily that I had to beg him to play me.
He would often try to put me off saying it wasn’t a challenge for him to play me.
After much pleading he finally agreed to play me again.
But, my Dad did not know how prepared I was this time.

Not only did I beat him in that game of Pool, but also I won every game we played for the
rest of the day.
There are many other examples, of course.

******************************************************************************************************

Remember the news story of the man who froze to death in a railroad boxcar?

******************************************************************************************************

He was found trapped inside a refrigerator car.

The odd thing was, the refrigerator was never on!

He believed he was going to freeze to death — and he did.
 ***********************************************************

Beliefs are powerful, as you can see.

************************************************************ So as you can see, What we think about is possibly what we bring about?

Of course science, in particular quantum physics has been proving this for more then

ten years now.

It used to be believed that our genes determined what we were and what we would become.

If you got bad genes, you were screwed so to speak.

Pioneering scientists Like Bruce Lipton and his theory of epigenetics have proved that it is a person’s consciousness/beliefs that determine whether their genes will actually be activated.

And new research also showing that people who start out with cancer genes can even turn off the cancer gene by changing their beliefs or consciousness.

Choosing Heaven…Or Choosing Hell…

June 4th, 2008

“Heaven on Earth is a choice you
must make, not a place you must find.”

Wayne Dyer: American self-help advocate, author and lecturer

Many people are looking for the bus to Graceland or Heaven.

You are already on the bus.

So called enlightened people will tell you they spent their whole lives looking for the bus and when they finally found it… they realized that they were already on the bus but just did not realize it.

Is all really well and everything and I mean everything

 unfolding as it should?

Answer: Yes Indeed!

We chose our spiritual path way in advance, when we split from the source and the so called egoic mind was created and then the world of duality/illusion was also created.

Everything you see with your eyes is literally a hologram that was projected from Your Mind.

We are literally pushing our thoughts out into the world.

We are all one so the world was co-created so to speak by all of us.

So anything you see before you with your eyes is going to happen in the present moment regardless of what you try to do to control it or avoid it.

So, you have a choice.  You can resist what you see in the world with your sense of sight and you get Hell so to speak.

Or, you can lovingly and willingly enjoy what you see with enthusiasm and adoratrion and adopt the attitude whatever.

***This is choosing Heaven!

Before you do anything, like stepping up to the first tee at the golf course, you can declare, ” I choose heaven.”  And then go ahead and visualize the shot you would love to hit.”

Don’t just try to imagine it, whenever you are visualizing.  Actually with your eyes closed try to see what you want to have happen atually happeing the best you can.

Even it is not in ‘3D’ what you see when you close your eyes, do the best you can and with practice you will see something.

What you see will most likely see is subtle, but that is perfectly OK.

And always remember, with anything you want to master:

1.) Patience 2.) Confidence 3.) Persistence 4.) Patience

Do it over and over and over again until it becomes automatic.  Be patient and think of the turtle, or be the turtle.

***Slow and easy wins the eternal race.

Inspiration and appreciation…

May 6th, 2008

“Inspiration is everywhere.

If you’re ready to appreciate it, an ant can be one of the wonders of the universe.”

 -Author Unknown

It is far more delightful to be fond of the world because it has thousands

of aspects and is different everywhere…for ever divergence deserves to be

cherished, simply because it widens the bounds of life.”

                                                                          -Karel Capek, Writer (1890-1938)

Who can develop High Blood pressure…is there a solution?

May 6th, 2008

 ***************************************************

Are you battling  and concerned about high blood pressure?

***************************************************

Do you feel like you are the only one that is fighting this battle?

Did you know:   millions of Americans have high blood pressure.

(Only a certain percentage of them actually know it.)

When you see your doctor you have your blood pressure checked.

Some people think this is irrelevant because they say they

will never have high blood pressure.

Probably one of the reasons so many people do not even know they have it.

They think for whatever reason it just won’t happen to them.

While it can be frustrating to monitor your blood pressure, there are things you can do to help lower it or keep it under control.

Exercise is a great way to lower and control your blood pressure.

You should choose to do an excersise that is aerobic in nature or what

is referred to as cardio.

An excersise that will keep your heart rate up and

maintain it there for twenty to thirty minutes three times per week.

Brisk walking three times per week is probally the best form of exersise for

someone who has high blood pressure.

Close to one in three American adults have high blood pressure.

While high blood pressure is very common among Americans,

African Americans tend to get it while they are young and more

often than white Americans.

My wife is an open heart Intensive care unit registered nurse and has

been taking peoples’ blood pressure readings for over twenty years.

She says they don’t really start worrying about it being high unless

the blood pressure reading is over 150/90.

The top number for your information is

the systolic pressure and the bottom reading is called the diastolic pressure.

Emotions according to my wife can get a person’s blood pressure up to or a

little over 150/90 or as you would say,  “one fifty over ninety.”

The number on the bottom is more important to experts like my wife.

If that bottom number starts going up over 100 than she starts paying attention.

She says she in not as concerned about the top number being high as she is about

the bottom number.

Most people on medication for blood pressure, when you ask them what their

blood pressure is they will hardly ever tell you 120/80, which is considered normal

an average reading for most.

Which to me means that the medication is not correcting the problem, it is just

changing the blood pressure reading and as they say managing the problem.

Another great thing you can do to help with your High Blood pressure

and also lower your cholesterol is to cut down on the amount of

white refined sugar in your diet.

And finally, you can add fiber in the form of ground flax seed to your salads,

oat bran or oatmeal cereal in the morning.

Last but not least, get to someone who can help you get your emotions under control.

Often times when we are stressed out and have too much on our plates, we

are not managing our emotions properly.

If you wake up tired every morning and have a tough time getting out of bed,

this is a good indicator you are not living your life in the present moment.

And that most likely you are spending most of your time mad about the past or

worried about the future.

Many alternative health care practitioners have the training to coach you in sessions

and help you manage your emotions.

If you do find out that you do in fact have high blood pressure you

should probally go have it checked out by your doctor first.

And then get as much information as you can so you can ultimately make

your own decision about what you want to do about it.
